# Login Procedure

Once the storage team confirms that the requested 'zone' is in place, please follow these steps to log in to the Starfish tool and access the zone.

**Step 1:** Connect to Brown VPN and go to <https://starfish.brown.edu/>.  We recommend using Google Chrome. &#x20;

Brown VPN is required to access Hibernate Service.

**Step 2:** Make sure <mark style="color:green;">`Network authentication (PAM)`</mark> is selected and sign in using your Brown AD credentials

**Step 3:** Upon login, you should see your zones (top left) and associated directories on the landing page. Navigate into the sub-directories to view your files.&#x20;
