# Linux Workstation

CIS is deploying a new method for Stronghold users to log into their Linux environment: [FastX 3.](https://docs.ccv.brown.edu/stronghold/usage/linux_workstation/linux_fastx3) It is not yet available to all tenants.

Tenants that have not been upgraded should continue using [FastX 2 ](https://docs.ccv.brown.edu/stronghold/usage/linux_workstation/linux_fastx2)to access Stronghold.
