# Viewing Jobs

After submitting a job, you can use the "View Job" page to track the status of the job, view finished transcriptions, and get other information about your jobs and transcriptions

## Viewing a job

Click any Job under **All Jobs** on the Transcribe home page to view them. If you currently have no jobs created, [create one](/ai-tools/services/transcribe/creating-a-job.md).

When you open your Job, you'll see all of the files uploaded in that Job, including their name, file size, duration, and status. If the status is "Completed", you can review the transcription by clicking on the filename of the audio file.

## Downloading all transcripts from a job

The hamburger menu shown below on the View Jobs page provides access to additional functionalities such as downloading and deleting jobs. To download all transcripts from the job, open the menu, and click on "Download all transcripts." The [Downloading Transcriptions](/ai-tools/services/transcribe/downloading-transcriptions.md) page provides more details on the next steps.

## Deleting a job

You can delete a job once it is finished (you cannot delete ongoing jobs). You can click the "delete job" button on the hamburger menu to delete the job. A dialog will pop up, asking you to confirm that you want to delete the job.

{% hint style="warning" %}
The deletion is permanent. You will no longer be able to retrieve a job and its transcriptions after they are deleted. Please be sure to download the transcriptions before deleting the job.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.ccv.brown.edu/ai-tools/services/transcribe/viewing-jobs.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
