Viewing and Editing Jobs

When a Job completes, you can review its transcriptions, play back audio, and make corrections all within the browser.

Viewing a Job

Click any Job under All Jobs on the Transcribe home page to view them. If you have no Jobs, create one.

When you open your Job, you'll see all of the files uploaded in that Job, including their name, file size, duration, and status. If the status is "Completed", you can review the transcription.

Grouping Sentences

By default, Transcribe displays the transcription sentence-by-sentence. You also have the option to group the sentences from the same speaker by clicking the Sentence Grouping button in the toolbar.

Editing

To edit the contents of a transcription, mouse over a Section you want to edit.

On the right:

  • Edit Edit the contents of this segment, be it Speaker, text, and/or the time range.

  • Add Inline Add a new segment to this timeline to be filled in by you.

  • Delete Delete this segment completely.
